Why Did You Want to
Become a Dentist?
Dr. Le has been very skilled with his hands from a young age, often helping his dad with various handyman projects around the house. He’s also always loved interacting with people and being able to help them solve their problems. It didn’t take long for him to realize that dentistry would give him the opportunity to change smiles for the better and inspire happiness every day. He committed to becoming a dentist while he was a freshman in high school – and he’s never looked back!
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Le’s college career started at the University of Austin, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Then, he pursued his dental doctorate at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, which is considered one of the top dental schools in Texas. Today, he is certified in nitrous oxide and a proud member of both the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association.
Outside of the
Dental Office, What Do You
Like to Do?
Dr. Le’s parents were refugees from Vietnam, and he was actually the first person in his family to attend college. His older sister is a pharmacist, and his little sister is currently pursuing medicine – healthcare definitely seems to run in the family! When he isn’t busy at work, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and significant other, cooking new recipes, playing sports, exercising, and dabbling in photography as a hobby.
